We love fashion. We love function. We love the environment.
We, Lane and Adele Palmer, have worked together to create for others what we love ourselves.
Inspired by summertime wanderings through Sardinia, France, & Ibiza we wanted to create something stylish but soulful.
Intrigued by the effortless grace and style of European women, we loved the way their look said I’m comfortable in me” rather than “look at me”. A pragmatic, inherent chic which follows a feeling, not a fashion.
The notion of cherishing well-worn pieces resonated with us. During a period of reflection in the hills of a beautiful, lush Thai island, we decided to design a range of beautiful bags and kaftans designed to last and made in a way that was respectful of the environment.
So commenced the journey that is Lane Palmer Green...
Brand Ethos
Lane Palmer Green apparel and accessories are born out of consideration of environmental factors and meticulously developed to strict sustainability measures. Wherever possible, we take a cradle to cradle lifecycle approach to the selection of materials.
All items are intended to complement rather than define your individual style; everyday favourites not seasonal fads.
Our bags accommodate busy lifestyles and are functional, fashionable vessels. Bags use hemp, Recycled PET (made from plastic bottles), organic cotton and non-bovine leathers including kangaroo and parrotfish.
Our apparel collection is hand dyed using natural leaves, bark and flowers so each item is as pure as can be.
Made by hand, by craftsmen and women, our products are artisanal rather than manufactured.
Our Environmental Policy
Every choice we make comes from an awareness of the environment.
We consider carefully the earth impacts of all materials and processes; from the fabrics, to the dyes, the distance the product travels, the manufacturing process down to our swing tags, stationary and promotional materials.
To the limited extent possible, we make in Australia to support the local manufacturers and economy. Most of our range is manufactured by responsible factories overseas whose operations we have personally visited.
We are not perfect, but we are certainly trying to practice what we preach.
